The scheme primarily targets adult women from economically weaker sections who meet the following criteria:

Implementation Process: How to Apply? 📝📌
Steps to Apply for PMUY LPG Connection 👇
1️⃣ Visit the nearest LPG distributor (IOCL, HPCL, BPCL).
2️⃣ Collect and fill the PMUY application form.
3️⃣ Submit the following documents:
- Know Your Customer (KYC) Form
- Ration Card or State Government Certificate for family proof
- Aadhaar Card (for address & identity proof)
- Bank Account Details (IFSC included)
4️⃣ The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) will verify the details with the SECC-2011 database to confirm BPL status.
5️⃣ Once approved, the LPG connection is issued in the woman's name.
⏳ Processing Time: Generally, LPG connections are provided within a few weeks after verification.
